a new YouTube feature is turning your regular ordinary comments into this YouTube is testing out a new feature called voice replies where creators can respond to comments on their videos with audio and right now only a small number of channels have it so if you do you'll notice this little Soundwave icon when replying to comments on your videos all you have to do is tap that and you'll switch from text to recording your voice now that's not what it really looks like cuz we see it on YouTube right now and Theo Joe is one of the creators in YouTube's test group and he's already using this feature to reply to comments and this is what it actually looks and sounds like uh you're right I made a mistake whoops let me know what you think about this in the comments below and by the way creators are the only people who can respond with voice replies so you don't have to worry about trolls just dropping crazy voice messages just delete your channel you suck now it's also worth noting that this feature has only been rolling out in the United States and voice replies are only functional on the YouTube mobile IOS app and if you're on a PC you'll only see a transcription like this which completely defeats the purpose YouTube's goal with this feature is to deepen Creator to audience relationships and this is just one of the crazy features YouTube plans to drop in 2025 and we have videos on these updates coming out soon so go ahead and hit the Subscribe button and if you want to know how to upload your YouTube videos for more views go ahead and watch this video right here and until next time keep creating
